Share the Plate! May 2026
Each month, UUCSB chooses an organization to split weekly donations made by congregants during the course of Sunday services. As many of you attend virtually, we are providing an online venue for these donations.
This month, we ask for donations to be split between UUCSB's general fund and The Minister's Discretionary Fund which allows Rev. Lori to minister to people in our community, primarily within the UUCSB congregation, who find themselves in financial need.

Next week marks the beginning of advent. We will begin our advent season with the candle of Joy. Join us to start this beautiful season together. I will share the significance of advent and explore Unitarian Universalist response to the season as well are our own. Advent means the arrival of an important person or event. In Christian terms it means the arrival of Christ. In our religious tradition that centers ourselves around LOVE, we will explore what we are seeking in this beautiful season and what is arriving for us.
