Beginnings: Back in the Flow ~ Water Communion
Worship Leader: Rev. Lori
Worship Associate: Rev. Niki
Music: Pick-Up Choir
This intergenerational service will be co-led by Rev. Lori and Rev. Niki with the assistance of our youth and youth leadership. Bring a small container of water with you to add to our shared container. You can bring it from your favorite beach or river, your birdbath or faucet. Bring water that you are grateful for and that represents your journey. At water communion, we blend our waters representing the blending of ourselves into a community fully and inextricably. It represents us joining in a source of life and blessing and flow. We bless the water and consecrate it so that we may use the water for blessing and marking special events or people even. Mostly this represents a UU traditions of joining back together after a couple months apart and bringing ourselves back into sacred space and sacred relationship. I can’t wait to see you all and hear where your life giving water comes from!
For our Sunday security, we lock the doors at 10:05. Ushers will monitor the doors until 10:15.
