Rev. Dr. Lori Whittemore

Reverend Lori Whittemore is an ordained interfaith chaplain and community minister and ordained and installed to the UUCSB in spring of 2024.  She received a Master of Divinity from Bangor Theological Seminary in 2010 and was ordained by Chaplaincy Institute of Maine in 2014.   Lori received her Doctor of Ministry from George Fox University, focusing on Semiotics, Church, and Culture.

Lori’s theology is that God is Love. The spiritual practices of inclusion, kindness, justice, grace, and mercy ground her in that belief system. Living them out in community is her call and commitment. She serves UUCSB as a preacher and pastoral care provider and embodies the UU values and principles as best as she is able. It is a joy to be a part of the UUCSB ministry team and to be in this loving community!

Rev. Niki Norman

Reverend Niki Norman (Rev Niki) serves as a member of the clergy team at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Saco & Biddeford. 

Educated in the Pacific Northwest and New York, she graduated from and was ordained by the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine (ChIME) in 2020. Rev Niki is a champion of civil rights and is the recipient of Equality Maine’s “Out Front” award for leadership. In addition to her work at the UUCSB, she provides interfaith chaplaincy services for Falmouth Commons Rehab and Residence in Portland.

Like Lori, Niki’s theology is that God is Love. Commitment to putting this theology into practice each and every day is her call. She serves the UUCSB in the roles of minister and as a provider of pastoral care who believes deeply in UU values and principles, especially the first principal of respect for the inherent worth and dignity of all people. Niki loves the UUCSB, music, laughter, and cats and is thrilled at the opportunity to share life’s journey with her church community. She lives in Old Orchard Beach with her feline companions Dom and Bax,and loves adventure, meeting new people and travelling to new places.
